Investor Summit at Sea 2010 Itinerary

After 7 previous Investor Summits at Sea, we’ve got this thing pretty well dialed.  Of course, we always like to change things up since we get so many repeat attendees.  Plus, you never know what great speaker, interesting topic or fun activity is going to become available – so our itinerary is always subject to change at the whims our creative genius.

Once you’re signed up, you’ll begin to receive updates, reminders and tips to help make your Summit experience one you’ll remember forever!  Hint: Get lots of rest before the trip – and allow a day or two to recover.

FRIDAY 4/9
Arrive at the hotel in New Orleans, get settled in and you can rest (yeah, right – in New Orleans?!?).  Or go out and explore the French Quarter!

SATURDAY 4/10
Hosted breakfast followed by classes and a pre-boarding orientation.  Then, we check out of the hotel and shuttle to the ship.  All aboard!  Spend the afternoon unpacking and exploring the ship.  In the early evening,  The Real Estate Guys will host a cocktail reception for just our special guests (that’s you!).  You’ll get to meet the speakers and your fellow Summit attendees.  And we may just have a surprise or two!  After the reception, we’ll have dinner in the ship dining room.  Form there, you can stay up late and continue to explore the ship, enjoy the on board entertainment or get a good night’s rest as you’re rocked to sleep by the hum of the engines and gentle rolling of the ship on the waves.  It’s awesome!

SUNDAY 4/11
Rise and shine!  It’s the first day of on board sessions.  We’re at sea all day, so classes start right after breakfast and run throughout the day.   In the evening, we’ll have a private reception (fun!) before enjoying dinner in the main galley.  After dinner, you’re free to enjoy the on board entertainment, talk a moonlit walk in the warm Caribbean evening air or hang out at one or more of the spontaneous activities our group always manages to put together.

MONDAY 4/12
Day 2 of seminars at sea.  Same schedule as Day 1

TUESDAY 4/13
Port day in Belize!  The Real Estate Guys LOVE Belize and when you look at it through our eyes, you’ll see why!  You are free to explore on your own, sign up for one of the many excursions available through the cruise line; or you can attend the optional educational real estate field trip.  Once back on board (sorry, you do have to come back), the evening schedule is similar to the previous days.  More food, fun and fellowship!  By now, you have lots of new friends!

WEDNESDAY 4/14
Port day at the beautiful island of Roatan.  This will be our first time at this port, so we’re excited to check it out.  This is a free day for you to explore, work on your investment plan, hang out with your new friends; or get away with your spouse, significant other or ??? (remember the Love Boat?).  Of course, the ship will have organized excursions you can partake of.  When we get back on board, we’ll get back to our “boring” routine of parties, meals, socializing and entertainment.  Fun, fun, fun.  How monotonous.

THURSDAY 4/15
Cozumel!  This is one of our favorite ports.  Once again, you’re free to go exploring or take advantage of one of the ship’s organized excursions.  The snorkeling and water sports are awesome in Cozumel!  The Real Estate Guys will have an optional beach party for those interested in fun, sun, food, drink and conversation.  While everyone in the US is stressing over filing their tax returns, you’ll be relaxing in the warm Mexican sunshine.  Hey, someone has to do it.  Why not you?  At the end of the day, we get back on board and…well, you know the drill.

FRIDAY 4/16
We need a break from all that visiting exotic locations and over exposure to the Caribbean sunshine, so we get back in the classroom again.  After a 1/2 day in class on shore, 2 days of classes at sea and lots of informal conversations with the speakers and other Summit attendees throughout the week, this is where it all comes together.  We’ll have the Ask the Speakers panel, then do a group discussion of best ideas and action plans.  Plus, we do a live taping of The Real Estate Guys Radio Show!  In the evening, it’s our famous farewell party which always lasts into the wee hours of the night (morning?).  Whew!

SATURDAY 4/17
We’re back in New Orleans where we disembark and say goodbye to the ship and crew.  But even though this year’s Summit will be officially over, you will be taking with you fond memories, new relationships, great ideas, and pictures, postcards and probably a few extra pounds (sorry!).  But if you haven’t had quite enough yet, we’re quite certain the city of New Orleans will welcome you with open arms for just one more night of fun!
