It seems every day we hear from people looking for help with some aspect of their real estate investing – everything from a plumber to a property manager to a tax attorney.
When it comes to successful investing, you need the right markets, the right properties and deal structures; and the right TEAM of trusted advisors and reliable tradesman. Sounds great. But how do you find good team members?
We pondered this question over a few Hoppies (delicious beers from Robert’s brewery) and our brains started buzzing. Even better, we had a really good idea! Since referrals are a GREAT way to find GREAT team members, what if The Real Estate Guys™ set up a RESOURCE EXCHANGE on our website? A place where listeners could recommend businesses for membership; and also get referrals to great service providers. Brilliant!
So while our crack tech department is figuring out how to set it up all fancy shmancy, we’re just getting started. Here is the humble beginning of what will become an INVALUABLE resource. And not just in the U.S., but around the world and throughout the galaxy! To quote Buzzed Lightbeer, “To infinity…and beyond!” We know it sounds audacious, but we’ve heard it said that if you’re going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think BIG.
The first step is to build up a list of resources.
We have some and are chasing more. But it’s a big job and we need help.
This is where YOU come in.
We’ve made a big list (you’ll see it in the drop down menu in the form below) of various categories of all the product/service providers that property owners routinely need. Our goal is to have at least 3 to 5 great businesses in each category for each zip code. For places that don’t have zip codes, we’ll do it by city. But we’re not going to worry about places that don’t have cities – there probably aren’t any people there anyway.
